Tribal Society

Evoke Architecture has completed the design of Tribal Society's first full store fit-out. As the brand's first permanent space built from scratch, the brief was to translate its identity and direction into a physical store.

The design brings together the two sides of the business, Tech and Luxe, each with its own distinct character. The Tech side is raw and performance-led; the Luxe side is warmer and more refined. The challenge was to give each its own identity while keeping the store reading as one coherent space, and the layout moves customers naturally between the two rather than treating them as separate zones.

At the heart of the store is a central display unit, designed and manufactured from scratch, which doubles as a small DJ booth to showcase and promote local talent. Beyond the two main arms, the scheme also introduced a dedicated fragrance section and a customer recharge area, adding further depth to the offer and giving customers a reason to slow down and spend time in the space.

As a practice this was a different kind of project for us, and one we thoroughly enjoyed from concept through to completion. We are looking forward to seeing the doors open soon.
